My family would like to offer our deepest sympathy at the death of Florence. She & my mother June Keelen Ferguson were high school classmates and stayed in touch over the years. Even after Mom died, your Mom would stay in touch with me via mail or phone calls. My Dad used to lovingly call her "yackety-yak" because she always had so much to say. My children grew up knowing her by that knickname! She was a wonderful friend to my Mom and a good friend to me and my family. She was always asking about how we all were doing. I will miss her Christmas cards with little letters in there telling me about all of you. I find comfort in knowing that she is up there in heaven with your Dad and my parents and other classmates laughing and having a gay ol time! May you fondly remember her throughout your lives.
